Do you remember what you told me? How you confessed your love for me! Do you remember what you said in the middle of your trial? Do you remember how you cried out and said, “If you help me, I will serve you” and like a mighty warrior I stepped in and saved you. You praised me for the valiant act and now I hear only your lips.

You continue to tell me about your love for me and yet you don’t attend my house. You blame others for your attendance and yet my promise was with you and I alone. How come all of a sudden others are involved in our relationship?

You lift up both your hands in surrender and sing “I Surrender All,” but the moment I ask for your service, well maybe next time.

How long shall I receive lip service? How long? When your spouse…

Honey drips onto the canvas of your watercolor life

Raw, sticky, messy – the more you try to wipe it away

The more spreads across your perfect image

Sweetness now surrounds, attracting the nuisance of flies

They look for places to light, drawn in

You make a fatal flaw, an admission of sorts, accidental of course –

Will they know what you really want?

Honey drips onto your lips in a dream that escapes to

the night’s freedom

Pleasing, needing, hungry – the more you try to forget

The more you remember

Will they all know it’s her you still think of?

One will.

Source of Inspiration

Oh, Divine Mother, Heart of us all.
embrace our troubled world with
Your tender love. Teach us how to
live in harmony. Touch our hearts
with compassion. Make us long for
the merging of all with the Creator,
giver of pure love. And so it is. Amen.

“As soon as you have made a thought, laugh at it.”
– Lao Tzu –

Again with the Autumnal feeling today but can it be helped? Not at all! The weather has dropped dramatically in temperature and it really feels like Autumn. However with the weekend set to bring temps of 24 plus again, who knows what will happen next!

So initially I began shooting some leaves that looked pretty against the red brick of the house. And then I spied what appeared to be a dead tree – but I think it’s just early Autumn seasonal! The colours however, especially in the little sunlight we did have, were beautiful.

I couldn’t resist! I’m prepping for the reds, oranges and golds of September and October and hoping that they do the season justice again this year. I have ear-marked lots of spots that I want to go back to and…

Where Raven Croons

My very first work of photography, I took this with Nikon D3100 and used Dynamic Light App on my iPhone for this watermark and its outcome.. A playground that stood empty and still
And yet is filled with noises of memories
A memories of children’s laughter
A distinct sound of cries
For the knees was scraped, and
Mothers soothed the cries
Kissed boo-boo away

A sound of swing
Creaking softly
To the memories
Of Children swinging
And singing a song

There stood a empty playground
Waiting to be filled once more, and
Once again to be heard with
Songs of children

Arizona Life Through My Lens

It hit me this morning that while I have stuck with my promise to myself to post at least one photo per day with the whole starting the new blog here with WordPress,  I’ve only posted one photo of a person here.  I don’t go out of my way to shot photo’s of people in general.  I have managed over the years to capture some great random photo’s of people while out at different events that I have been at.  I of course point the camera at my kids and take lots of photo’s, but other people tend to be off-limits.  Unless of course I’m asked too, and then I always make sure that I get something in writing about the fact that I can the image for things like my blog.  Something that has grown for me in the last couple of years it being asked, dare I say…
